We attended a pop up dinner event with Sense SA at Drifter Brewing in Woodstock during SA Heritage month.  Let's start with the decor, love how the whole event focused on history in almost every culture in South Africa, the whole event was diverse and everyone who attended was interested to learn more about our history and everyone's culture.  The set up was cozy, fresh, unique and classy.

We had to taste many many dishes, every dish had a story to tell and some would remind me of my childhood life (pap and boerewors ) and we also enjoyed some beer.  I personally think that we need more of these events that will bridge the gap when it comes to social and racial issues, I believe that if strangers with different cultures meet and share a meal with a story, that we could unite South Africans.
